A Wonderful Twist on the Espresso Martini, invented by Robin Tabari in Newcastle Upon Tyne, 2014.
Here is a recipe for a salted caramel latte martini:

Ingredients:

  • 50ml vodka
  • 25ml Kahlua
  • 25ml Bailey’s Irish Cream
  • 25ml Caramel syrup
  • 25ml espresso
  • pinch of Salt
  • Caramel sauce, for rimming the glass
  • Salt, for rimming the glass

Instructions:

  1. Rim a martini glass with caramel sauce and salt.
  2. Fill a shaker with ice.
  3. Add the vodka, Kahlua, Bailey’s Irish Cream, Caramel syrup, and espresso to the shaker.
  4. Shake well to combine the ingredients.
  5. Strain the mixture into the prepared glass.
  6. Top with whipped cream, if desired.
  7. Serve and enjoy!

Note: You can adjust the proportions of the ingredients to suit your personal taste. If you prefer a stronger coffee flavor, you can increase the amount of espresso, and if you prefer a sweeter cocktail, you can increase the amount of salted caramel syrup. You can also experiment with different flavored syrups or liqueurs to create your own unique variation on this cocktail. Enjoy!

Variations:

The espresso martini is a popular cocktail that combines espresso, vodka, and Kahlua (a coffee-flavored liqueur). Here are a few variations on the classic espresso martini recipe:

  1. Chocolate Espresso Martini: This variation adds a touch of chocolate flavor to the classic recipe by using chocolate vodka or adding a splash of chocolate liqueur (such as Godiva) to the mix.
  2. Hazelnut Espresso Martini: This variation adds a nutty flavor to the classic recipe by using hazelnut vodka or adding a splash of hazelnut liqueur (such as Frangelico) to the mix.
  3. Vanilla Espresso Martini: This variation adds a touch of vanilla flavor to the classic recipe by using vanilla vodka or adding a splash of vanilla liqueur (such as Vanilla Kahlua) to the mix.
  4. Irish Espresso Martini: This variation adds a touch of Irish whiskey to the classic recipe by using Irish whiskey-flavored vodka or adding a splash of Irish whiskey to the mix.
  5. Raspberry Espresso Martini: This variation adds a burst of raspberry flavor to the classic recipe by using raspberry vodka or adding a splash of raspberry liqueur (such as Chambord) to the mix.

These are just a few examples of variations on the classic espresso martini recipe. You can experiment with different flavored vodkas and liqueurs to create your own unique variation on this popular cocktail.
